How to get Matrix Orbital sensors to read?

I have a matrix orbital LCD display with 4 thermal sensors. Sensors-detect does not find the device (which I think is ok since the wiki shows matorb as not automatically detected).

My kernel FC5 2.6.17 does not have matorb.c in the source tree. How do I get lm_sensors to read these sensors? (I can copy the matorb.c into the right spot in the source tree, but how do I modify the Makefile - and is that enough?)

Hello,

It is not enough just to copy it. The driver is just for a 2.4 linux kernel. You need to port it to 2.6 kernel. If you can't do that, offer us something so we can do that for you ;). We can help when you have porting questions, so please write if you want to try it on your own. Then I will give you more pointers.
