Description

I am using an Intel Pentium D 820 which uses the VRM 10.1 specification which currently isn't supported by lm_sensors.

See this: Voltage Regulator Down (VRD) 10.1 Design Guide For Desktop LGA775 Socket http://download.intel.com/design/Pentium4/guides/30235604.pdf

Hello,

I just checked and the VID table is same as in VRD10.0. Also it seems that VRD10.0 should be detected for your CPU (CPUID string 0F44h (SL88T) nebo 0F47h (SL8CP)). Does it write that something in log about unknown CPU? Make the VID voltage sense? Please Cut and paste here the output of sensors so we can check what is there.

Thanks,

Rudolf

--8<-- vid: +1.088 V (VRM Version 10.0) --8<-- And no, it doesn't make any sense :) VCore is actually 1.34V and should be between 1.2 and 1.4V according to http://download.intel.com/design/Pentiumd/datashts/30750603.pdf page 20.

Hello again,

1.088V means all bits are zero, this means most likely that it is not wired. What chips reports that? What motherboard manufacturer/model it is thanks.
