Description
I have compiled and installed lm_sensors, but the readings are 3.0 C from lm75 all the time. The motherboard is intel SR440BX with PIIX4. The documentation is not clear about type of sensors installed. What could be my problem? /proc/modules: 2c-dev 2640 0 eeprom 2704 0 lm75 2684 0 (unused) sensors 5308 0 [eeprom lm75] i2c-piix4 3036 0 (unused) i2c-core 9468 0 [i2c-dev eeprom lm75 sensors i2c-piix4] 3c59x 18920 1 (autoclean) nls_iso8859-1 2020 2 (autoclean) nls_cp437 3548 1 (autoclean) vfat 11516 1 (autoclean) fat 25664 1 (autoclean) [vfat] es1371 23212 1 soundcore 2372 4 [es1371] aic7xxx 106928 1 sensors: lm75-i2c-0-4e Adapter: SMBus PIIX4 adapter at 0440 Algorithm: Non-I2C SMBus adapter temp: 3.0 C (limit: 3.0 C, hysteresis: 3.0 C) eeprom-i2c-0-50 Adapter: SMBus PIIX4 adapter at 0440 Algorithm: Non-I2C SMBus adapter Thank you -- Vasiliy --- Are you sure you have an LM75, and not some other device? What did sensors-detect say? Please generate a i2c dump: run 'prog/detect/i2cdump 0 0x4e w' and send the output to lm78@…. Thanks,
